oh jealousy, look what have you´ve done…

Manch­mal kann ich gar nicht wirk­lich erk­lären, wie sich Bilder zusam­men­fü­gen. Ein Arbeit­skol­lege hat­te ein riesiges leeres Aquar­i­um und ich wollte schon immer mal mit so etwas shooten. Ich fragte Lani, ob sie sich vorstellen kann in so einem Aquar­i­um zu mod­eln und sie sagte zu. Wir hat­ten diesen Som­mer einen der heißesten Tage erwis­cht. Wir füll­ten das Aquar­i­um mit Wass­er. Allerd­ings hat­ten wir nur Brun­nen­wass­er und es war eiskalt. Im Zoom sieht man die Gänse­haut ;0)…

Nach dem Shoot fuhren wir in eine Eis­diele und Lani saß dort, bib­bernd, vor Kälte frierend und alle Gäste fragten sich, was mit ihr sei bei 35° Grad. Wir lacht­en und Lani wärmte sich wieder auf und genoss das Eis.

Einige Tage später kam Mr. Juri Bogen­heimer mal wieder vor­bei. Er ist auch Fotograf. Ich hat­te einen orange­far­be­nen Anzug bestellt und wir woll­ten im amerikanis­chen “Dude” Style (was immer das heißt…) fotografieren. 

Als ich die Bilder so bear­beit­ete, fügten sich das Aquar­i­um und der Dude ein­fach so zusam­men und den Titel hat­te ich dann auch schnell gefun­den. Der Okto­pus ist ein­fach nur ein klein­er far­blich­er Gim­mick ;0)…

Oh jealousy, look what have you´ve done…

Sometimes I can't really explain how pictures fit together. A workmate had a huge empty aquarium and I've always wanted to photograph something like that. I asked Lani if ​​she could imagine posing in such an aquarium and she said yes. We had one of the hottest days this summer. We filled the aquarium with water. However, we only had well water and it was freezing cold. In the zoom you can see the goosebumps ;0)...

After the shoot we drove to an ice cream parlor and Lani was sitting there, shivering, freezing from the cold and all the guests were wondering what about her at 95 °F. We laughed and Lani warmed up again and enjoyed the ice cream.

A few days later Mr. Juri Bogenheimer came by again. He's also a photographer. I had ordered an orange suit and we wanted to shoot in american "dude" style (whatever that means ...).

When I edited the pictures like that, the aquarium and the dude just went together and I found the title quickly. The octopus is just a little colored gimmick ;0)...
